CHAUVET began as a small manufacturer in Florida with one product,
Ropelights. The business evolved into a showroom outlet with several products
selling to the lighting, novelty and special effects markets. In this role Chauvet
had no control over product design, quality or even product line.
Albert Chauvet decided there had to be a better way and launched his own line
with his and his team's designs. Chauvet's motto is Value, Innovation and
Performance. This led to lights that had some features that other more
expensive lights had while being more affordable.
Chauvet lights soon gained a reputation among DJ and school drama
departments of offering the right light at the right price along with an industry
best 2 year warranty on all DMX fixtures.
Innovation is part of the DNA ingrained at Chauvet.
This commitment to innovation is currently represented by the Colorado and
COLORdash LED fixtures. The entire world is looking to do things more
efficiently and with less energy. Chauvet's lights are perfectly suited to this goal.
The LEDs last for 100,000 HOURS!!! and you can hook up several lights on a
single 15 or 20 amp circuit with no trouble at all.

synchronized light shows. In this configuration a mster/slave relationship is set
up so that the master controls what the slave units do and when.
